How to create a new installment expense
When you create an installment expense, each installment is linked to an expense in one or more events. This way, you can track which installments have already been split and which still need to be divided.
- On the event screen where you want to create the expense, tap
.
- Tap 'Expense'

- In the
field, enter the amount of the first installment.
- In the
field, enter the title of the installment expense. Do not enter the current installment number or the total number of installments; we will display that for you automatically.
- In the
'Paid by' section, tap 'Edit'
to select who paid for the expense.
- In the
'Split by' section, tap 'Edit'
to select who is splitting the first installment.
- Select the 'Installment expense' option

- Enter the number of installments in the
field and tap the
icon.
- Edit the installment amounts if necessary.
- Tap 'Done'.
- If desired, add a tag
, date
, or note
.
- Tap 'Create'.
